Leave Something Behind

Posted on May 7, 2014 at 6:15 0 Comments

"Everyone must leave something behind when he dies, my grandfather said. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or a pair of shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you're there.

It doesn't matter what you do, he said, so long as you change something from the way it was before you touched it into something that's like you after… Continue

Start and don't stop!

Things will never happen because they were wished. Someone has to start something and get things in motion. When you start persist and insist on quality and delivery. To finish you need to set goals and then measure along the way.

Start: unless you start you will always be an empty bubbler who is singing about some day. Someday never comes unless you do something today to start. Be willing to start small, but start all the same. Be will to take small steps and then accelerate forward.

The 4Ps of Marketing Leadership.

By Thomas Barta

Millions of marketers have mastered the famous 4Ps of marketing: product, price, place and promotion. But if you're a marketing executive, you won't get very far without also tackling the 4Ps of marketing leadership: productivity, purpose, pull and power.

We all love the 4Ps of marketing. It's a powerful toolkit, and has given marketers a clear steer for generations. It's actually pretty neat. The basic message? Marketers must…

Testimony of progress

I received the following testimony from Webster:

"Many thanx mighty man of God for your inspirational ''Its time to unleash your greatness'' masterpiece. I completed my first degree in Chemistry in 1992 but after following articles in the Sunday Mail I set a goal to read for an MSc in Analytical Chemistry degree in 2009

and that same year I registered for the degree in September. I have successfully completed mystudies and will be graduating before the end of this year. Now my… Continue

You are precious. Never forget your value.

I heard that a well-known motivational speaker started off his seminar holding up a $20.00 note. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 note?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar note. He then asked, "Who still wants it...?" Still the hands were up in the air. "Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor… Continue

Greetings

I have been reluctant to join in on your success train until my friend, T. Nyaruwanga invited me. His motivational energy magnetises me and for a long time i have admired his way of doing things. My realisation that you have been part of his grooming has persuaded me to join him, you and others on the road to success. i hope and pray that we reach our desired destination together.

Thanks so much Milton. I am so delighted to hear from you. I am a Zimbabwean working in Somaliland (North West of Somalia). It is really a difficult place to be but I thank you so much for your indirect support. Whenever I feel discouraged and demotivated, I always turn to your site or read your subscriptions. I thank you for the indirect support you give me. I will ask my Somali friends to join in and together we can become a better society. I strongly believe in exploiting my potential to the fullness. Thanks and God bless you.

I am currently going through a phase of self discovery to find who I am because sometimes you get lost in being everything to everyone else and you forget to look out for Number One. So I'm hoping that in the 100 days before 2009, I rediscover myself and realign myself to the best I can be and to what God created me to be. Thanks for this amazing website - I'm not usually into this kind of thing (myspace, facebook) but I believe that this community will definitely impact me. I always read your greatness e-mails and on the talks you have given where I attended, I've never left unchallenged. You are trully serving your purpose to help others find their greatness and I thank God for people like you. Keep fighting the good fight.
